Common questions

When is a CPA worth it for a personal return?
When there is more than one moving part: self-employment, rentals, equity compensation, a business interest, more than one state, or income high enough that planning matters.
I moved states this year. What changes?
You may need part-year returns in both states, with income allocated between them. Remote work can add another layer.
Can you fix a return someone else filed?
Yes. If a prior return missed something, an amended return can often correct it.
