Bookkeeping and monthly close

Books kept on accrual, reconciled and closed every month, with vendor bills, customer invoicing and payroll for a small team handled as part of the same process. The result is a set of numbers you can compare month to month and actually run the business on.

What is included

Transaction entry and coding

Bank, card and payment platform activity captured and coded to the right accounts as it happens.

Vendor bills and customer invoicing

Payables entered and scheduled, invoices sent and payments applied, so both sides stay current.

Reconciliations

Every bank, card and loan account reconciled monthly, which is where most errors are caught.

Month-end close

Accruals, prepaids and depreciation booked and the period locked, so history stops moving.

Monthly review

A short walk through what changed, what it means and what to watch next month.

Common questions

How is this different from doing it in QuickBooks myself?
The software records what you enter. The value is in coding it correctly, reconciling it, booking the adjustments accrual accounting needs and closing the month, so the reports mean something.
Is payroll included?
Payroll for a small team in one state is included with monthly bookkeeping. Larger teams and additional states are priced separately.
What if my books are behind?
Catch-up work comes first, month by month, until the books are current. Then the monthly process takes over.
